Thanks
A warm welcome and thank you to all those who recently accepted
the invitation to become part of Reachout’s family.
A thank you to all who continue to be part of our family.
Together with God’s Holy Inspiration, we walk the road set before
us. When we see a fearful and worried young mother-to-be walk into
Reachout Pregnancy Center, and then leaves strengthened and hopeful - we
know we will soon see her baby born into this world.
This can only happen with your help, and if you have not yet made
a commitment to expand and become part of our Reachout family, please do
so now. As we journey
together toward our “20 Year Vision” and the family of Reachout grows -
God’s life message is spreading more and more.
Let us keep these women and babies in our minds and hearts, as we
move forward toward our “Vision“.
Thank you for
Believing
it is possible, and
Receiving
God’s blessing for doing His work, and
Seeing
our world change before us.
We pray God Blesses you and your family and ask for your continued
prayers. Yours in Christ,
Yolanda Lopez

Reachout, an Oasis in the Desert
As our summer weather and its heat quickly come upon us, our
thoughts and plans might turn to lakes of water or seaside cities where
coolness and refreshment exist.
But, for many women, babies, and families in our community the
possibilities of this type of escape are impossible.
Yet, with God’s grace and blessing Reachout Pregnancy Center
becomes their long cool drink of water.
The dictionary describes an oasis as a small fertile or green
area in the desert region, usually having a spring or well, a place of
refuge. God is the source of
living water which flows from Him to His people, and because our
Reachout family (our prayer warriors, staff, volunteers, counselors, and
donors) are a people of faith that same living water flows through us.
Therefore, Reachout indeed becomes an
oasis in the desert.
Just the other day, while I was at Reachout I witnessed two moms
and their babies drinking from these living waters.
A friend and neighbor of mine
Suzanne (the giver) came to Reachout to donate countless baby items and
maternity clothes, which we were in great need of.
While there, she decided to feed her baby
because it was nearing the noon hour, and
at the same time one of our clients (the receiver) sat next to her to
also feed her baby. They shared a mom’s conversation between themselves,
the giver and the receiver, and I realized in that beautiful
life-giving moment, they were both receiving and giving from the
Master’s living water.
Isaiah 43:19 came to life before my eyes:
“In the desert I
make a way, in the wasteland, rivers.”
Thank you to all of our Reachout
Family for making life possible for a pregnant woman in crisis, for the unborn, for babies, and
those who need healing in our community.
Thank you, that you remember us through the summer months,
because the need is always present.
Our Master makes a way in the desert, and thanks be to God that
Reachout is an
oasis through which the living waters
flow. God bless you and your
families and have a safe summer.
Yours in Christ,
Yolanda Lopez
